DRAFT — describes what the system actually does, and has not been through legal review. It must be reviewed before it is relied on or submitted to an app directory.

What KayIdol is

A marketplace that connects customers with independent local service providers. KayIdol does not perform the work, does not employ the providers, and is not a party to the agreement between a customer and a provider.

The free beta

KayIdol currently charges nothing and handles no money. The commission is zero, and the customer pays the provider directly. These are operator settings and the authoritative answer is always /v1/meta/capabilities, not this page.

What confirms a booking

A request becomes a booking when the provider accepts it — not when a customer or an assistant asks for it. Until then a slot is held and no booking exists. If a provider declines, the request may be passed to the next-ranked provider, and the calling assistant is told.

Cancellation

A booking can be cancelled through the assistant that made it. Where a cancellation carries a cost, the exact figure is shown before anything is cancelled, and the cancellation does not proceed without agreement.

Using the API

API keys are issued to identified developers and must not be shared. Search and the capability document are open; everything that quotes or books requires a key. Rate limits apply and are published in the response headers of every call.

Liability

The service is provided as-is during the beta. KayIdol verifies that a listed provider holds a government ID before listing them, and does not warrant the quality of work performed.

Governing law

The laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
